Building trust in Learning & Development is the foundation of strategic impact. These are the suggestions from the respective speakers at pre-OEB Global Conference event organized by Speexx.
Some takeaways by our CLO Olha Yevsikova from OEB Global Conference 2025 in Berlin 👇
✅ Involve them in the creation: Actively involve stakeholders and managers in the design and strategy of learning content. This builds ownership from the start.
✅ Say NO to 90% of their requests, but help identify and solve the problem instead. Not all the requests could be solved by creating learning!
✅ Bring and show the value.
✅ Establish Clear Governance: Define roles, assign tasks, clarify areas of responsibility, and create the necessary ecosystem for successful initiative deployment.

🛑 Pressing Challenges We Must Address:
1. Fostering Community: How can we encourage peer-to-peer learning? Post-2020, and with increased reliance on technology, many people are less inclined to interact openly.
2. AI for Development, Not Decline: How do we preserve "human" skills and avoid the cognitive decline that excessive automation can cause? The challenge is making AI co-pilots a tool for development, not a catalyst for intellectual laziness.
3. Staying Agile: Technology is evolving at an exponential pace. How can L&D stay agile, effective, and truly up-to-date?
If you agree that trust is the foundation of L&D success, hit 'Like' and share your key takeaway!
